In short: a team of 11 dedicated lovers of Southern Africa – what more could you ask for?
Five good reasons to choose Iwanowski’s Individuelles Reisen:
Years of experience
For about 30 years, we and the team at Iwanowski’s Individuelles Reisen have spent around 5,000 days—nearly 14 years—in Southern Africa. We’re happy to share this wealth of experience with you. Just ask us!
Expertise of an author team
The Iwanowski travel book publisher has been publishing individual travel guides for over 25 years, renowned for their quality and expertise. Its founder, Michael Iwanowski, published the first German-language guide to what was then “South-West Africa” in 1983; it reached its 25th edition in 2010 and is officially recommended by the Namibia Tourism Board for travelers to Namibia. At the same time, he organized numerous safaris to the country—thus giving rise to the travel agency “Iwanowski’s Individuelles Reisen.” It quickly developed into one of the market leaders in individual trips to Southern Africa.
Thanks to his work as a travel guide author, the evaluation of information follows particularly strict selection criteria. You benefit from the expertise of both the travel book publisher and the tour operator—and this combination of publisher and tour operator has been unique in the German tourism market for over 25 years!
Local contacts on-site
We work only with reliable local agencies that we’ve known for many years. This means you’ll always have dependable, often German-speaking contacts in the destination country during your trip, ready to help you quickly and easily with any questions or problems. Our clients who book customized accommodation arrangements receive a personalized itinerary.
